As many of you are aware, I am in the final push of a PhD in the philosophy of moral education with a double major in moral school leadership. This semester I sat for my General Examination in order to determine my official candidacy as a doctoral student able to move forward beyond the coursework and into the dissertation phase. After six years, over 100 course hours, hundreds and hundreds of books and articles read, hundreds of papers written, journal articles and book reviews submitted for publication, gallons of coffee and Monster drinks consumed, too many late night drives in the rain, and a significant loss of eyesight, I am pleased to announce the following:

Dear Mr. Scott Martin,
***Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported this endeavor thus far. Now the real work begins!
Congratulations and continued success.
Way to go!!
A thousand congratulations….what a truly well-deserved and magical moment! Onwards and upwards!
